Incidents of crime have been visibly reduced after Rangers started patrolling in Korangi industrial area, Chairman, Law-and-Order Committee of Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KATI), Nadim Khan, said. He expressed that crime rate will be further reduced considerably if ongoing Rangers operation against extortionists mafia, target killers and street crimes remains continued in the city.
He pointed out that police have also become active in Korangi industrial area after deployment of Rangers and establishing of Rangers' control room in KATI. Talking to newsmen, he said that the criminals have been vanished from Korangi industrial area and other parts of the city and now people are feeling relaxed and they have started going to makers and recreational parks. He congratulated Director General Rangers Chaudhri Ajaz on his promotion to the rank of Left General.
Nadim Khan also thanked Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Ashfak Kayani and added Law Enforcing Agencies have become active in industrial areas and other parts of the city after business community meeting with him. He expressed satisfaction over Rangers' patrolling and guarding 12 exit and entry points of Korangi industrial area.
