Trade, industry welcome MQM's rejoining government

The trade and industry has welcomed the MQM's decision to rejoin Federal and Provincial governments. The Patron-in-Chief, Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (KTI), Chairman Ehteshamuddin, Vice-Chairmen, Hasham A. Razzak and Tariq Malik and former Chairman, Mian Zahid Hussain said in a joint statement that the decision of MQM to rejoin the coalition governments at the Centre and in Sindh is a good omen and will boost democratic process.
They offered compliments to Dr Saghir Ahmad on assuming the charge of health ministry, Adil Siddiqui taking over the charge of public health engineering, Rauf Siddiqui as minister of industries, Nadia Gabol as head of human rights affairs, and Shoaib Ahmad Bokhari on taking the charge of the bureau of supplies and prices. "It was a right decision in the larger interest of the nation as MQM is the mainstream political party". Muneer said.
"MQM decision will strengthen the democracy in the country which is the need of the day" Ehteshamuddin said. He further said that business community is expecting peace and stability in the country especially in Karachi after the rejoining of MQM in the government and this would rebuild the confidence of business community.-PR
