Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Department has said that more than 197 dengue cases have been confirmed in the province, whereas five infected patients so far died. According to report issued here on Saturday, said that about 197 dengue cases have been confirmed out of 442 suspected reported in the province. Around five dengue infected fallen prey to the epidemic.
Similarly, more than 70 patients were still under treatment in dengue units of various hospitals of the province, while around 367 patients discharged after treatment. 82 patients have travel link with Punjab. District wise report said that the most of the dengue cases had been reported in district Abottabad with 44 confirmed cases followed by Mansehera with 27, Peshawar 25, Haripur 24, Mardan 22 and Nowshera and Swat with 10 cases each.
