CPNE vows support to army

Expressing a profound sense of concern over scathing and unprecedented public allegations by the US against Pakistan, Council of Pakistan Newspaper Editors (CPNE) President Jameel Ather said that no foreign country has any right to give dictation to the Pakistani government. He also said that the 180 million people of the country and its army have full support of the media.
The media will continue to play its role to protect and preserve country's ideological and territorial integrity. He further said that media would play its role to support the army and the CPNE will always defend the freedom of the press. CPNE hailed the government's move to hold an All-Party Conference as a welcome development.-PR
