Shahi Syed's oil tanker hijacked, ornaments looted

Armed robbers on Saturday robbed gold ornaments of millions of rupees and took away an oil tanker owned by President ANP Sindh Shahi Syed in separate incidents at various parts of the metropolis. According to the police, an oil tanker (JP-8213) owned by President ANP Sindh Shahi Syed was hijacked while transporting gasoline from one pump to another within the limits of Sachal police station.
They said the tanker driver namely Nisar Zamir along with two other associates were recovered from the bushes located near Toll Plaza. They said the case in this regard has been registered on the complaint of pump manager Shamim and probe has been initiated to recover the oil tanker.
Meanwhile, ANP Sindh spokesman Qadir Khan confirmed the said incident, saying that the oil tanker carrying 15,000 litters of diesel and some 10,000 liters of petrol was hijacked at around 8:30 am while transporting the same to another gasoline station in Saachal remits. In another incident, a substantial quantity of gold ornaments got missing in mysterious circumstances from a jewellery shop located in the limits of Saudabad police station. The incident took place at a jewellery shop owned by Allah Wasayo located at Sarrafa Market of Liaquat Market.
