The executive committee of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, (SCCI) has praised the services of outgoing body of the chamber and said that the former leadership had played vital role for resolution of problems confronting business community in the province. The SCCI executive committee meeting held here on Tuesday with outgoing president Usman Bashir Bilour in the chair.
The SCCI newly unopposed elected president, Afan Aziz, vice president Sohail Hashmat, Javed Akhtar, Abid Salam, Ziaul Haq Sarhadi, executive member Brigadier (Retd) Abdul Samad, Zulfiqar Ali Khan, Aftab Ahmad, Mazharul Haq, Sabir Saraf, and along with newly elected members of executive body were attended the meeting.
The meeting hailed the services of outgoing body under leadership of Usman Bashir Bilour and said that the compensation package for affected business community, non-increase of district government rent for three years, and establishment of Research and Development centre are the main steps, which was commendable and appreciable.
Speaking the occasion, the SCCI outgoing president, Usman Bashir Bilour said that they had set a vision for provision of relief and amicable of resolutions of problems confronting business community in the province. He expressed that hope that the newly elected cabinet would play its due role for resolution of problems and issues of the business community.
