Announcement of Election 2011-2012 results: HCCI general body meeting to be held on September 29

Election 2011-2012 process of the Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (HCCI) the three member Election Commission comprised of Mehmood Ahmed, Naeem Aslam Khan and Syed Afroz Ali scrutinised the nomination papers submitted by Gohar Ullah for the position of President HCCI, Turab Ali Khoja for the position of Senior Vice President and Muhammad Saleem Arain for the position Vice President HCCI and found them in order.
Thus according to unofficial results Seth Gohar Ullah Chairman Fateh Group and member Executive Committee was declared elected unopposed as President HCCI for the year 2011-2012. Turab Ali Khoja and Abdul Saleem Arain Members Executive Committee were declared elected unopposed as Senior Vice President and Vice President HCCI, respectively.
Prior to this on 22nd September 2011 as a result of Election 2011-2012 for the 12 vacant positions of Executive Committee (6 seats for Corporate Class and 6 seats for Associate Class) all the candidates belonging to "Tajir Dost Panel" were declared successful. Their details are as under Syed Yawar Ali Shah 76 votes, Khalid Umer Malik 86 votes, Muhammad Arif 79 votes, Muhammad Shahid 92 votes and Pehlaj Rai 89 votes and Nadeem Ahmed Siddiqui 567 votes, Kamran Shafique 538 votes, Moiz Abbas 551 votes, Muhammad Akram Arain 542 votes, Umer Hayat 551 votes and Moazzam Ali obtained 551 votes.
The General Body meeting of HCCI would be held on 29th September 2011 at 11:00 AM in which the final results of the Chamber's elections would be officially announced.
