Many changes seen in gram prices on grain market

Most of the changes were seen in the grams prices on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the grams side grams Australia No 1 low type was lower by Rs 200 to Rs 5000-5200, grams Australia dal No 1 low type was up by Rs 100 to Rs 6300 and good quality, however, shed the same amount to Rs 6500, grams Australia dal No 2 lost Rs 400 to Rs 6000-6200.
Grams 50x50 was sharply higher by Rs 400 to Rs 5500-5700, yellow peas Canada low type shed Rs 50 to Rs 4100 while the better type did not show any change at Rs 4300, yellow peas Ukraine low type rose by Rs 50 to Rs 4000 and best quality gained to Rs 4200, yellow peas dal Ukraine was up by Rs 100 to Rs 4500-4700, they added.
On the cereal side moong Punjab was higher by Rs 500 to Rs 6500, masoor Canada was quoted at Rs 5500 and masoor dal Canada was registered at Rs 6500-7000, wheat old and new Bardana rose by Rs 5 to Rs 2500-2590 and 2605-2610, respectively, they said. A solo deal was witnessed on the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag low type shed Rs 100 to Rs 1100 while the best type did not show any change at Rs 1300, other items did not show any change in process of trading, they said. Prices were unchanged on the rice sector, they said.
