1 min
The Lahore High Court on Wednesday sought replies from the secretary health Punjab and Lahore District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) on a petition challenging sealing of a medical laboratory allegedly for charging extra money for dengue tests.
Dr Zeenat Hussain through her counsel Raza Kazim submitted that on September 19, 2011 police along with other government officials intruded her medial laboratory at Lawrence Road. The counsel pleaded that the laboratory was already following government's directions and charging Rs 90 for dengue fever test. He said the action by the government official was illegal and without lawful authority and based on political gimmick. He prayed the court to declare the act of sealing lab illegal.
