Chhipa team returns after flood relief works

A team of volunteers assigned to carry out relief activities in flood-affected areas of Sindh has returned to the city. The team had visited Badin, Mirpurkhas, Sanghar, Thatta and other areas that have been inundated with the devastating floods.
On arriving at the CWA's headquarters in Karachi, the team leader apprised the Patron-in-Chief Ramzan Chhipa of the miseries and anomalies of the populous that has been surrounded in floods and has been left at the nature's mercy. The team leader informed him that people surrounded by the floods were starving out and in dire need of food, clothing, medicines and other necessities of life on urgent basis.
Patron-in-Chief Ramzan Chhipa convened a high level meeting of the CWA and formed a committee to visit the flood-hit districts to deliver ration, clothing, bed sheets, tents, mineral water and other commodities. He also asked the committee to stay in flood-hit districts and carry out relief activities.-PR
