Government of Sindh has decided that all MPAs, cabinet members including Special Assistants to Chief Minister and Government Employees in BS-16 to 22 of Provincial/District Government and autonomous/ semi-autonomous bodies of Sindh Government will contribute in Sindh Flood Relief Fund.
According to details Ministers/Advisors will contribute one month pay while Special Assistant/MPAs one week' pay and Provincial/ District Employees in BS16- 22 will contribute one day pay in Sindh Relief Fund. The deduction on account of said contribution shall be made at-source from their salaries for the month of September 2011, payable on October 1 2011, in advance, said a statement issued on Friday.
This decision shall also apply to the government employees holding posts on contract basis including managerial posts and employees of autonomous/ semi-autonomous bodies of Government of Sindh. The Accountant General Sindh/ All District Accounts Officers and Principal Accounting Officers / Administrative Departments have been directed to deduct and credit the same to "Sindh Flood Relief Fund", PLS A/C no 6720-5, National Bank of Pakistan, Sindh Secretariat Branch, Karachi.
