Senior Leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (Like-Minded) Hamid Nasir Chattha, Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, Humayun Akhtar Khan and Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri announced Rs one million for the flood victims of Sindh. Chairman of PML Hamid Nasir Chattha while expressing sympathies with Sindh flood victims said that our party was with them and we would not leave them alone at this time of crisis.
President PML Senator Salim Saifullah Khan said that due to negligence, wrong strategy of the present government to respond to flood damages and the banks that were damaged in the last year flood were not built due to this flood caused such huge devastation in Sindh.
Secretary General of PML Humayun Akhtar Khan said that the rulers did not learn from the last year flood due to which more than five millions people badly affected by flood. He said that rulers were busy in foreign visits and the country is engulfed by serious crisis and they had nothing to do with the interest of the common man.
Chairman Steering Committee of PML Khurshid Mahmood Kasuri said that most of the organisations had earlier warned government of existing flood but the government did not give any heed to the warning due to which each district of Sindh was affected by the flood. He also cited that weather forecast department had also given earlier information of August and September rain in Sindh but the government did not carry out precautionary measures to alleviate flood damages.
