A trade delegation led by Director Firoz International, Alamgir Firoz comprising more than 50 top companies of Pakistan will leave for Spain on Sunday from here. The delegation, comprising top businessmen of Pakistan will meet the high ups of EL Corle Ingles (ECL), which is one of the biggest hyper-market chain of Spain and discuss what they can import from Pakistan.
It includes more than 50 top companies of Pakistan from various sectors including textiles, footwear, leather garments, carpets, etc. The delegation would meet all the buyers of ECI. ECL started their buying operations in Pakistan with the help of TDAP this year after the visit of a high-powered delegation to Pakistan from ECI.
The ECI has already signed an exclusive buying agency agreement in July 2011with Alamgir Firoz. It is expected that the exports to ECI from Pakistan will increase three times. El Corte has an annual volume of around $65 billion including imports from various countries and Pakistan has a big potential to fetch its share from ECL's annual buying. Alamgir Firoz said that he is expecting to get huge export orders from ECL after meeting with the ECL officials.
