Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Sunday said the politics of arms would divide Karachi and honest politicians should play their role to save the country. Addressing a press conference here he said the provincial and federal governments were ignoring the bloodshed of innocent people in Karachi in the name of political reconciliation.
He said Karachi lawless could be ended with the help of police, but for this it is necessary to purge police from die-hard political workers recruited in police on the recommendation of rulers and their coalition partners.
He said Sindh province was facing immense problems due to recent torrential rains, displacing thousands of people. He said the role of government to help these people is just condemnable.
He alleged that Asif Ali Zardari had given share to other politicians in 'corruption'. He said Zulfiqar Mirza should summon courage and tell the whole truth that Rehman Malik is worsening Karachi situation as he is ordered by his boss Asif Zardari to do this. Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Sindh chapter office-bearers were also present.
