Veteran journalist Sohail Zafar dies

Veteran PTV newscaster and journalist Sohail Zafar died of heart attack on Thursday. He was 69. He left behind three sons, a daughter and a widow. He was buried in Johar town graveyard the same day while his Quls were held on Friday afternoon.
Sohail Zafar started his professional career with Pakistan Television Corporation in late 1960s as an announcer and newscaster. Later in '70s he jointed daily newspaper Mashriq as a reporter/columnist in Lahore till dissolution of National Press Trust newspapers in '80s. Sohail Zafar was also specialist on pigeon farming.
