Published Updated

Governor of Sindh, Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan, in his Eid message to the masses has asked them to maintain unity in their ranks as this is a prerequisite for the progress and prosperity of Sindh. He said Eid festival being celebrated this year amidst difficult times demands that Muslims maintain the discipline and tolerance expected of them, particularly during Ramazan, and practised it in their collective lives round the year.
He said, "All inhabitants of Sindh are peace loving and they understand well that it is needed for the development of the province". Ebad said, "we have to show our solidarity with all the families who lost their beloved and those who belong to the deprived communities." The occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr offers an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment that patience, sacrifice and other Islamic values reflected during the Ramazan are adopted as essential component of our daily life dealings.
