Pakistan Television has arranged a three-day special transmission on Eid to entertain viewers with a variety of programmes to celebrate the festivity with their friends and families. PTV has prepared special programmes for youth, children, women especially for middle age and old age people so that people can enjoy family entertainment.
The three-day Eid transmission would start with recitation from the Holy Quran and special programmes would be aired for children in which renowned singer Humaira Channa and famous film star Resham would participate, said a news release issued here on Monday.
Comedy serial 'Salma ka Balma', comic poetry recitation 'Eid ka din ha aj to hans lo', Urdu feature film 'Yeh dil aap ka hoa', Qand-e-Mukarar, special Eid play 'Siyasi Eid' and an Eid show gala 2011 would be presented on the first day of Eid.
On the second day stage show 'Hasnta gata shoor machata', comedy plays 'Chand Nazar Nahi Aya' and 'Hakeem sahib ka Dastarkhan', comedy Dangal, Punjabi feature film 'Majajan', special play 'Meri Beevi ki Eid' and live concert of international fame singer 'Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan' will also be aired for entertaining audience. Collection of Malka-e-Taranum Noor Jahan will also be telecasted on third day of Eid titled 'Best of Noor Jahan, Mahki Fizain Shookh Adain', Eid folk show 'Akhtar da Mubarak Shah', comedy play 'Jo sulah ho jaye' and number of other programmes will be included in the Eid transmission. PTV has also organised live shows in which renowned people hailing form different walks of life would be invited.
