Trading volume at the futures counter increased by 155.4 percent during the week ended on August 27, 2011. Average daily volume at the futures counter increased to 7.56 million shares as compared to previous week''s 2.96 million shares. The futures spread, however, declined by 374bps to 7.71 percent from previous week''s 11.45 percent.
