Grams prices seen higher on grain market

The rates of grams were higher on the wholesale grain market on Thursday as demand was strong at the approaching end of Ramazan, dealers said.
Some changes marked on the grams side, grams Australia No 1 gained Rs 50 to Rs 4850-5050, gram dal Australia No 1 low type retained overnight level at Rs 5900 while the best type gained Rs 100 to Rs 6100, grams 50x50 picked up Rs 100 to Rs 5500-5700, yellow peas Canada low type rose by Rs 100 to Rs 4000 while the good type retained overnight level at Rs 4100 and yellow peas dal Canada fell sharply by Rs 350-400 to Rs 4050-4200, they said.
Only one change was seen on the seed side as cottonseed oilcake with bag Sindh low type retained the overnight level at Rs 1100 and better type inched up by Rs 5 to Rs 1180, they said. Prices were unmoved on the rice and cereal sector, they added.
