Kidnapped man survives

A 28-year-old man on Tuesday survived an ongoing spree of ethnic violence in the limits of Pak Colony police station. SHO Shakeel Sherwani said the victim Imran, a resident of Ranchor Line, survived a current spate of targeted killing on ethnic ground. The victim in his statement revealed that he was kidnapped from Rexer Lane where he went to buy medicines.
He further said the abductors, who appeared to be Baloch, had applied severe torture on his body and then forced him to run for life along the Lyari Naddi. He said the culprits fired multiple shots when he started running along Lyari Naddi. He said the victim, who received two bullets on his legs, had jumped in Lyari Naddi and managed to survive.
