Pakistani Ambassador meets Saudi Information Minister in Jeddah

Pakistan's Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Muhammad Naeem Khan called on Saudi Minister for Culture and Information Dr Abdul Aziz Muhyuddin Khoja at his office in Jeddah on Saturday and discussed with him matters of mutual interest. The Ambassador said that Pakistan highly regards its relations with Saudi Arabia and the recent visit of the President and the Prime Minister of Pakistan has further cemented the existing fraternal relations between the two Muslim countries.
The Ambassador said that the leadership of both the countries is working for stability of the region, according to a message received from Jeddah here. He said that Muslim Ummah is proud of the Saudi leadership and always looked towards them for guidance. He lauded the comforts and services provided to the pilgrims by the Saudi leadership.
The Ambassador appreciated the expansion of the grand mosque project inaugurated by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud on Friday. The Ambassador also expressed his gratitude and appreciated the Saudi assistance to Pakistan during every difficult time.
The Ambassador underlined the need for enhanced co-operation between the media of the two countries for projecting the true image of Islam as well as to counter anti-Muslim propaganda. He also stressed for more interaction between the media persons of the two countries for benefiting from each other's experiences.
The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of the Pakistan Information Minister to the Saudi Minister for Culture and Information and reiterated invitation to the Saudi Minister to visit Pakistan, which he warmly accepted. The Saudi Minister for Culture and Information while welcoming the Ambassador said that Saudi Arabia considered Pakistan as a close, fraternal country and wished it to be prosperous and developed country. He assured the Ambassador of his full co-operation to strengthen relations between the two brotherly countries.
