Peace in Karachi: Prime Minister asks political parties to play role

Prime Minister, Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Saturday called upon the political parties and patriotic elements to play role in controlling the law and order situation in Karachi. The Prime Minister was talking to Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Khurshid Shah who called on him at the PM's House. The latest law and order situation in Karachi was reviewed in the meeting.
Gilani said the government has already deployed additional security force to restore peace in the city and bring criminals to justice. He strongly condemned Friday's attack on a police bus in Karachi.
