Provisional figures: FBR collects Rs 38.749 billion in 18 days

The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has provisionally collected Rs 38.749 billion during first 18 days of August 2011 against Rs 28.385 billion collected in the corresponding period of last fiscal year, reflecting an increase of 36 percent. It is learnt here on Friday that except Federal Excise Duty (FED), all federal taxes have shown positive growth during first 18 days of August 2011.
