The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) has carried out the exercise of re-composition of KSE-30 Index for the review period from January 1, 2011 to June 30, 2011. The re-composition has been carried out on the basis of the criteria of selection of companies, a KSE notice issued here on Friday said.
The re-composed KSE-30 Index, based on the prices of June 30, 2011, will be implemented with effect from August 15, 2011, it added. In aggregate, three companies would be affected due to re-composition as the incoming companies are Dawood Hercules Chemical Limited, Unilever Pakistan Limited and Nestle Pakistan Limited while the outgoing companies are Jahangir Siddiqui & Company Limited, Bank Al Falah Limited and Mari Gas Company Limited.
After re-composition, the companies in the re-composed KSE-30 index include Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Fauji Fertiliser Company Limited, Pakistan Oilfields Limited, MCB Bank Limited, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Engro Corporation Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, National Bank of Pakistan, Fauji Fertiliser Bin Qasim Limited, The Hub Power Company Limited, Attock Refinery Limited, Nishat Mills Limited, United Bank Limited, Millat Tractors Limited, Attock Petroleum Limited, National Refinery Limited, Lucky Cement Limited, Lotte Pakistan PTA Limited, Habib Bank Limited, ICI Pakistan Limited, DG Khan Cement Company Limited, Bank Al Habib Limited, Dawood Hercules Chemicals Limited, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, Kot Addu Power Company Limited, Arif Habib Corporation Limited, Adamjee Insurance Company Limited, Unilever Pakistan Limited, Nestle Pakistan Limited and Nishat (Chunian) Limited.
