Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU) of Crime Investigation Department (CID) on Thursday claimed to have arrested a notorious criminal involved in several serious offences in the limits of SITE A police station.
According to police, a CID team, headed by SSP Muhammad Aslam Khan on a tipoff conducted a raid at SITE A police remits and arrested a notorious criminal namely Mazharuddin alias Motta Pehlwan son of Qamaruddin and recovered a Kalashnikov, bike and several live bullets from his possession. They said the accused was reportedly involved in several serious offences including murder, attempt to murder, kidnapping, robbery, etc and some 19 cases were registered against him at different police stations of the city.
