Managing committee seats: KCCI annual elections on September 17

Annual general elections of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) for the year 2011-12 for managing committee seats will be held on September 17, 2011. Elections of office bearers will be held on September 27, 2011 and Annual general meeting will be held on September 30, 2011.
The chamber will start issuing and receiving nomination papers from August 15, 2011 and last date of receiving nominations papers has been fixed August 18, 2011. Last date of receiving objections to the nomination of the candidate is September 7, 2011. Final list of candidates will be displayed on September 12, 2011.
Last date of withdrawing nomination papers is September 13, 2011 to avoid appearance of candidate's name on the ballot paper. Poling for managing committee would start on September 17 at 10 am and would remain continue till 7 pm with a break from 2 pm to 3 pm for lunch and prayer. Last date of filing nomination papers for seat of office bearers is fixed as September 22, 2011, Election of President, Senior Vice President and vice president will be held on September 27, 2011.-PR
