Two children were killed and four others injured when a truck fell on a donkey cart at T-5, Bund road, Islampura area on Sunday. Police said Muhammad Abid along-with his wife and four children was going to Talat Park Farukhabad on a donkey cart when a truck (LSB-1933) loaded with scrap overturned and fell on them. Resultantly, the family trapped under the vehicle.
On information, rescue teams and Edhi Foundation reached the spot and started rescue operation. The rescue teams pulled out Abid, his wife Rani Bibi and two kids Sajid (7) and Subhan (4) alive. But, unfortunately, Arshad (8) and Shahnaz (6) died on the spot.
