ICE canola mostly rises on soy strength

* Open interest fell on Wednesday to 139,571 contracts, a 15-month low.

* Canola seen stuck in a range with a lack of fundamental news. January support seen at $496.10

* January canola futures eased 90 cents to $501.10 per tonne on volume of 7,929 contracts.

* March gained 90 cents to $503.60 a tonne on volume of 9,359 contracts.

* January-March spread traded 6,536 times, settling at a March premium of $2.50.

* Chicago January soybeans gained 11-3/4 US cents to US$11.11-3/4 per bushel. January soyoil gained 0.58 cent to 48.98 US cents per lb.

* MATIF February rapeseed lost 0.5 percent.

* The Canadian dollar was trading at $1.0341 against the US dollar, or 96.70 US cents, at 1:18 p.m. CST (1918 GMT), up from Wednesday's North American finish at $1.0396 to the US dollar, or 96.19 US cents.

* US crude oil futures lost 1.1 percent to US$93.87 per barrel.

* European sell-off pauses, Spanish risks ease.
