The 13th IAAF world athletics championships would be staged from August 27 to September 4 at Daegu, South Korea. During nine days event, athletes hailing from more than 200 teams will be in action. National athlete Farhan Ahmad will compete in 800-metre and 1,500-metre races of the meets. A spokesman of Athletic Federation of Pakistan (AFP) said that Salman Iqbal, a former international athlete, would accompany Farhan as manager-cum-coach.
