Bin Qasim Association of Trade and Industry (BQATI), in collaboration with Port Qasim Authority (PQA), has installed security monitoring system at the newly installed main entrance check post and boundary wall at the main entrance of PQA, completing the first phase of the joint PQA-BQATI drive to enhance security of the PQA area.
BQATI Founder President, Mian Mohammed Ahmed briefed that the first phase of PQA-BQATI joint security enhancement plan consisted of securing the entire PQA perimeter consisting of more than 12,000 acres. A boundary wall is constructed at the main entrance and check post has been established. The system will be monitored 24 hours from several remote locations simultaneously.
The second phase will consist of establishing command and control centres in each of the three PQA zones and patrolling by private security personnel in co-ordination with PQA security, Sindh Police and Pakistan Rangers, which will be built and managed by BQATI.
