"There is no dearth of talented players in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the soil can produce best players, if facilities provided to the sports-lovers, Amjad Ali Arbab, Country Manager Pakistan Shore Bank of America, said here on Tuesday.
Amjad Ali Arbab, during his visit to Malik Saad Shaheed Sports Trust (MSSST) head office at Central Police Office, evinced keen interest in the Trust based activities photographs, adding that sportsmen of the province were full of talents to mark their names at national and international level.
Amjad Aziz Malik, Secretary, briefed the guest about the Trust activities. The briefing was also attended by Syed Ali Nawaz Gilani and Syed Tassadaq Hussain Member MSSST Board of Trustees apart from MSSST officials. Arbab maintained that Squash Stars Hashim Khan, Azam Khan, Jehangir Khan, Jan Sher Khan, belonging to Nawan Kallay, were the production of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, who earned a good name for the country.
He further claimed that twelve test cricketers of the province, who got international recognition and the five hockey captains, were also from the province, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He lauded the role of Malik Saad Shaheed Sports Trust for taking huge responsibility of establishing sports academies.-PR
