This is with reference to the newly appointed foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar who visited India recently where the entire Indian media focused on her personality and stylish attire, expensive handbag, sun glasses, pearl necklace, diamond bracelet and expensive wrist watch, diamonds surrounding the dial of the watch. A lot of criticism is being received about her stylish attire from the opposition party.
But we should ignore it, if her accessories are not from ill-gotten money. Who are we then to criticise her. Are not the Prime Minister and President not wearing expensive suits? A woman has the right to be well-dressed. We should remember that a woman looks more beautiful if she is well-dressed. Our foreign minister is not only a beautiful lady but a weapon of mass attention. We should be proud of her.
