As a further step towards modernisation of its banking operations and facilitating its customers through superior banking services by business oriented IT solutions, Sindh Bank Limited has launched its ATM services by joining hands with Avanza Solutions.
The agreement to this effect was signed by Muhammad Bilal Sheikh, President Sindh Bank Limited and Mahmood Kapurwala, CEO, Avanza Solutions at a special ceremony held here on August 1, 2011. Through a wide range of financial services, Sindh Bank is trying to create an enabling environment in the country with a particular focus on Sindh for its greater role in the economic development of the country.
The services include, besides micro-finance and e-banking, innovative agricultural loans schemes in the form of Benazir Zarai Card and Tractors Loans to facilitate the farmers to play their due role in boosting agriculture, and interest-free students' loan scheme with job guarantee to help the students complete their post-graduation studies.
Speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Bilal Shaikh, President, Sindh Bank Limited, welcomed Avanza Solutions as "our information technology partner" and said, "we look forward to a greater collaboration in the days to come." Reciprocating, Mahmood Kapurwala, CEO, Avanza Solutions also expressed, "Sindh Bank has a great vision and we are glad to back their objectives of offering superior banking services by empowering them through IT solutions."
Based on the agreement with Avanza Solutions, the following solutions will be implemented at Sindh Bank Limited enabling it to offer world class e-banking services to its clients: A full-fledged ATM processing and switching solution-NIMBUS will facilitate Sindh Bank to cater to the need of ATM controlling, Rendezvous - Avanza's Financial Middleware Solution will enable the bank to rapidly integrate its existing and new alternate delivery channels with the back-end systems, and Vision-Card Production and Monitoring Tool will provide real-time monitoring and management of the system.
