Punjab opposition legislator Shaukat Basra has filed requisition for summoning of Punjab Assembly session with Punjab Assembly Secretariat recently. Punjab Assembly shortly has seen four sessions held on the requisition of the opposition legislators.
The Assembly session has to be held within fourteen days of filing of the requisition. The requisition by the opposition member is filed in order to discuss failing economic scenario, impeding law and order situation and other important matters.
