A teenager was killed and eight other persons sustained multiple injuries in an explosion inside a hotel in Hub area, bordering Sindh and Balochistan, some 30km away Karachi city on Sunday. According to rescue and police sources, the blast occurred at around noon at Brishna hotel.
The dead has been identified as Mohammed Naeem, 18, while the injured include Abdul Wahid, Imran, Aman, Barkat, Tariq, Rahim, Baboo Ustad and Shakir.
An official of Edhi Foundation told APP that Imran, Tariq, Rahim and Baboo Ustad were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) due to their serious injuries while others remained at the Civil Hospital in Hub area.
