At least 18 policemen were injured and 27 fans temporarily arrested as violence erupted after a German cup match in Berlin, police said on Sunday.
Fans of fifth division Dynamo Berlin stormed a stand occupied with fans from visiting Kaiserslautern after the Bundesliga team won the first-round game 3-0 on Saturday. The Dynamo fans also fought the police.
Several police officers required treatment in hospital, while police could not say how many fans were injured in the incidents. There was also unrest after SV Hamburg's 2-1 victory at lower league Oldenburg when around 100 fans attacked police on their return to Hamburg central station. Police said that nine fans were detained and 13 officers injured.
