The notification of amendment in service rules for senior doctors could not be issued despite a lapse of two weeks. The meeting of service rules committee was held under the chairmanship of Secretary Regulations, M Ilyas about two weeks ago but the regulations department failed to issue the notification of amendment in service rules of senior registrars, district specialists and assistant professors.
Hence, regularisation of 1,800 senior doctors is yet to be issued by Punjab health department.
