Securities and Exchange Bill to be introduced in National Assembly today
The government will introduce "Securities and Exchange Bill, 2011" in the National Assembly on Thursday (July 21), it is learnt. According to National Assembly Secretariat sources, the government has put on the Thursday''s agenda the ''Securities and Exchange Bill, 2011'' and Audit Reports 2010-11 of the Auditor General of Pakistan.
Sources said two calling attention notices regarding closure of CNG stations for three days in Punjab and use of narcotics would also be moved for discussion. The President has already summoned both the National Assembly and Senate sessions separately today Thursday (July 21), at 5pm.
Sources said the opposition would also raise the issues of Karachi carnage, rigging in recent AJK elections, energy crisis, loadshedding and price hike. The National Assembly session is likely to continue for two to three days.
