Telenor Pakistan has started operations at a new sale & service Centre in Multan on Abdali Road, which will provide support services to four franchises and cover areas of Khanewal, Kabirwala, Muzaffargarh to Lodhran, Bahawalpur and Khanpur.
This centre was inaugurated on Monday by Chief Marketing Officer, Telenor Pakistan Aamir Ibrahim, management officials and the Sales and Service staff of the center. Ibrahim said that Telenor Pakistan has been providing high quality telecommunication services in Pakistan since 2005. It has over 26 million subscribers, 2,500 employees and a nation-wide network covering more than 8,000 cities. It holds a majority share in Tameer Microfinance Bank Limited. Telenor Pakistan is 100 percent owned by Telenor ASA and adds on to operations in Asia.
Ibrahim further said, "Multan has consistently been an important nerve center for the Southern Punjab region. The centre will cater to the needs of a large number of daily customers".
