The Indus River System Authority (Irsa) on Saturday released 272,811 cusecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 300,825 cusecs. According to the data released by Irsa here, the maximum water level in River Indus at Tarbela was 1441.66 feet, which was 63.66 feet higher than its dead level of 1,378 feet. Water inflow in the dam was recorded as 176,400 cusecs while out flow was recorded as 160,000.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa and Sukkur was recorded as 208,383, 183,891 and 101,052 cusecs respectively. The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla was 1189.7 feet which was 149.7 feet higher than its dead level of 1,040 feet whereas the inflow of water was recorded as 26,614 cusecs and outflow as 15,000 cusecs.
