One person was killed, another injured in different incidents here during the last 24 hours, while one car and one motorcycle were stolen and Capital Police nabbed nine persons for their alleged involvement in different crimes. Islamabad Police during last 24 hours recovered four pistols and one 12-bore rifle from detained accused, while one tampered car was impounded.
Tarnol Police registered a blind murder case against unknown persons who killed Haji Abdul Rahim aged 55 belonging to Bhadana Kalan area of rural Islamabad in the jurisdiction of Tarnol Police. Police recovered body of deceased from a deserted area where he had gone to graze cattle. Bara Kahu Police during a routine patrolling stopped a person namely Khawar bin Zubair at Murree Road and on search police recovered one pistol and eight bullets from his possession.
Golra Police stopped a person namely Tauqeer Abbas during routine checking at Golra Shrine and on search police recovered one pistol and five bullets from him. Tarnol Police during patrolling stopped Kaleemullah at a checkpoint near Jhangi Syeddan and on search police recovered one pistol from him. Tarnol Police also recovered one pistol and five bullets from Mohsin Iqbal during checking at Jhangi Syeddan checkpoint. Tarnol Police also recovered one rifle 12-bore and 25 cartridges from Ehsanullah at Jhangi Syeddan checkpoint.
Unknown thieves have stolen Honda 125 motorcycle of Sikandar hyat, bearing registration number SGK-6040 from H-8/4 are falling in jurisdiction of I-9 Police. Sabzi Mandi Police impounded a car Toyota Corolla bearing registration number LOH-3570 after Amir Raza brought the car for laboratory checking. The car was found tampered. Shalimar Police arrested two persons Muhammad Danish and Muhammad Rafiq from G-10 Markaz, who were begging.
