The Punjab government on Thursday has carried out transfer and posting of provincial officials in the excise and taxation department. According to a notification, Shakil-ur-Rehman, Director, Excise and Taxation, Region-B, Lahore, has been transferred and posted as Director, Excise and Taxation, Region-C, Lahore, against a vacant post in his own pay and scale, relieving Masood-ul-Haq, Director, Excise and Taxation, Region-A, Lahore, of the additional charge.
Muhammad Asif, presently working as Senior Excise and Taxation Officer, Sialkot, has been transferred and posted as Director, Excise and Taxation, Region-B, Lahore, in his own pay and scale, vice Rao Shakil-ur-Rehman. Ashiq Hussain Shah, Senior Excise and Taxation Officer, presently awaiting posting, is posted as Senior Excise and Taxation Officer, Sialkot, vice Muhammad Asif.
Farman Masood, Excise and Taxation Officer and presently working as Senior Excise and Taxation Officer (OPS) in Dera Ghazi Khan, has been transferred and directed to report to Directorate General, Excise and Taxation, Punjab, on administrative grounds.
