46 worker's welfare schools' 28,000 children getting free education

Provincial Minister for Labour Haji Ehsaan-ud-Din Qureshi has said that government will provide required funds for the completion of ongoing development projects launched by the labour department. Talking to various delegations of workers on Saturday, Haji Ehsaan-ud-Din Qureshi said that free education, including books, stationery, transport and uniform, was also being provided to 28,000 children of workers in 46 workers welfare schools of the province.
According to a handout, he said the government had increased the marriage and death grant, adding that the amount of scholarship to the children of labourers had also been increased.
