Rana Sanaullah's diatribe: Supreme Court takes suo motu notice on Awan's plea

The Supreme Court on Saturday took suo motu notice on the application of former law minister Dr Babar Awan who sought protection against threat to his life in the aftermath of remarks by Punjab Law Minister Rana Sanaullah. The application has been converted into human right case number 2477/G/2011. The court has summoned Dr Babar Awan with record on July 4 where senior Judge Justice Javed Iqbal shall conduct the hearing in his chamber.
