HRW wheat bids steady

Published Updated

Hard red winter wheat basis bids were steady on Wednesday in quiet dealings ahead of the USDA acreage and stocks report on Thursday. Traders said the winter wheat harvest was advancing in the southern Plains under clear weather, with some of the freshly-harvested supplies going to mills and elevators. USDA confirmed the sale of 120,000 tonnes of US soft red winter wheat to an unknown buyer. India will decide soon on whether to export one million tonnes of wheat.
