US grain futures climbed 2 percent early on Tuesday before paring gains in light trading, supported by a weaker dollar and rebounding from multimonth lows ahead of a government crop report due on Thursday. Chicago Board of Trade corn for July delivery was up 5-3/4 cents at $6.66-1/2 per bushel after hitting a three-month low last week.
CBOT July soybeans gained 1-3/4 cents to $13.31-1/2 to nearly a one-week high, while CBOT July wheat was up 9 cents at $6.31-3/4 per bushel in bargain buying after falling to an eight-month low.
