ITP holds workshop on traffic laws

Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) on Monday arranged a one-day road safety workshop at the Capital Car Rental Services to acquaint the staff with traffic laws. The ITP regularly arranges lectures at various educational, government and non-government institutions, aimed at inculcating traffic sense among the people. In this regard, a workshop was organised at Capital Car Rental services where ITP Education Team delivered lectures on Road Safety Tips.
Speaking on the occasion, SP (Traffic) Mir Wais Niaz said that the objective of the workshop was to impart education regarding traffic laws and inculcate better traffic sense among the participants. He said that ITP was doing its best to maintain traffic discipline in the city. He emphasised that pedestrians should always use the over head bridges to cross the road to decrease the ratio of road accidents.
Chief Executive of Capital Car Rental services Sadaf Hameed said that ITP had improved the image of police among the masses besides strengthening community policing through public co-operation. At the end, certificates were distributed among the participants and SP traffic was presented souvenir.
