Waseela-e-Haq training workshop concludes

The 10-day long Waseela-e-Haq training workshop under the aegis of Benazir Income Support Programme concluded here on Monday successfully. As many as 42 families attended the workshop, including 24 from Lahore Division and nine each from Gujranwala and Sahiwal Divisions, selected through balloting under the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, Director General Punjab of the programme Shahid Aslam Mahaar said the trained families would be provided with Rs 300,000 interest free loan to start with own business. He said these families would return this amount in 15 years period. He urged the families to start businesses at the earliest to become useful resources of society. He said the programme is being promoted under the guidance of Farzana Raja, in charge of the programme.
