Downfall of government has begun, says Altaf

Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) leader Altaf Hussain on Sunday harshly criticised the government over Azad Jammu and Kashmir election issue and accused it of political betrayal. Addressing on telephone from London a general workers' meeting of his party workers near Nine Zero at Karachi, Altaf Hussain said his party workers would file a petition for holding fresh polls in the AJK.
He said today the downfall of the present government has begun. He said his party helped the Pakistan People Party government at all difficult times but it betrayed the MQM.
He requested the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take suo moto notice of these 'fake' elections and order fresh holding of these polls. Deputy convenors and members of MQM Rabita Committee, Provincial and Federal Ministers, former parliamentarians as well as leaders, workers and supporter of the party attended the event in large numbers.
