Pakistan Football Federation on Saturday named its 20-member team to play Bangladesh in a World Cup qualifying round match here on July 3 at Punjab stadium. Seasoned goal keeper Jaffer Khan was named as captain and mid-fielder Faisal Iqbal will be his deputy, said President, PFF, Faisal Saleh Hayat.
"It is a good combination of youth and experience and we hope to get good result in the match against Bangladesh," he said. "I am fully satisfied with the preparations and practice of my team as players are putting in extra efforts to live upto to the expectations of their coaches," he asserted. PFF President wished the team good luck for the their home match against Bangladesh and urged the players to stage their best performance for inspiring the team to success.
He said the match will create a soft image of Pakistan which is suitable to host international sports events including football.
